Thanks for your Vote: Commitment from all, and Accountability is the only way out!

In a two page post electoral message on November 11, 2022, the president-elect thanks the members of the prestigious 1994 alumni association of GBHS Fontem for participating in an electoral process that put in place the very first members of the executive bureau.
I want to start by thanking all members of the general assembly, particularly those that went through the electoral process put in place by the electoral committee, a great team to which I give credit as well. - The President.
Acknowledging the choices of the members that put him at the helm of the executive as challenging, he however sees it as a great privilege and honor, and promises to do his best.
I want to say what an enormous privilege and honor it is to be trusted with this leadership task and I am deeply conscious of that privilege and honor at this time. - The President.
In continuation, he brings in a quick reflection, stating that their heads and minds were once empty way back in 1994, but that over decades they have acquired not only knowledge, skills, and experiences, but also maturity and wisdom, which is a great tool to enable them put such skills into practice for their own sustainability.
I Many years back, as very naïve and ‘empty-headed' people, we came together, and despite all the challenges most, if not all of us made it. Over many years of separation, we have all acquired knowledge, skills, experiences, maturity, and white hair which is a vessel of wisdom – a mighty blessing from God....
...Today we thank God as we have once more come together, this time around with smart and ‘filled’ heads, ready to use our maturity and wisdom to put every knowledge, skill, and experience into practice, to develop and sustain ourselves, our alma mater, and our community.- The President.
He further urges members to be committed and feel free to hold the executive accountable for every action they undertake, reiterating that accountability is the only ingredient to every successful leadership.
Considering that there is never good leadership or achievement without good and committed minds, on behalf of the elected bureau, I call on all members of the GBHSF’94 Alumni association to show a great level of commitment, not relenting in any effort to hold the elected bureau accountable.- The President.
In conclusion, the president announces that in the days ahead, the executive will be announcing their immediate plan of action, something he says would be a regular activity, while calling on members with great ideas to feel free to submit such ideas to the executive board.
The executive bureau welcomes useful information and advice from any member that can help us grow as a people. Do not hesitate to contact the communication officer or persons indicated for such information. - The President.
